His name was Chris Rogers. I believe his mother died when he was a child and he went to live with relatives. I know he was related to Chris Wicks who relocated to Hare Bay. I recall hearing the Collins name. I grew up in Gambo. We celebrated the holidays with school concerts at Christmas and Easter. There was an annual garden party in the summer, all of which we took part in and enjoyed so very much. Life was hard even harder for others but everyone lived the same.
